Electronic Conveyancing will be implemented throughout NSW by the end of 2014, which means that Solicitors and Conveyancers will be able to conduct most elements of conveyancing transactions electronically.
A single commercial platform called the Property Exchange Australia (PEXA) will mimic the paper environment and will deal with transfers, mortgages, caveats, discharges of mortgage and withdrawals of caveats.
Practitioners need to be subscribers to the system in order to use it. It is our intention to embrace Electronic Conveyancing and our PEXA software implementation will take place during 2014.
Electronic Conveyancing will result in document preparation being simpler and more accurate, and the time taken in communications will be reduced.
